Numoku.
A glaze that moves. On the cups it sits pale and speckled, a blue-white broken by the dark clay at the rim; on the bowls and the platter it runs deep amber and brown, with pale streaks where it pooled. Mixed in the studio, fired to cone 10, and never quite the same twice.

The story
The kiln finishes it.
Numoku is one of the glazes Adam mixes and tests in the studio, recorded firing after firing on tiles like these. How thick it goes on, the shape of the piece and where it sits in the kiln all change how it moves, so a cup and a bowl from the same firing can look like different glazes.
That is why every listing in the shop shows the exact piece you get. The glaze moves across the surface on its own, and no two come out the same.
