Every glaze here is mixed in the studio and recorded firing after firing. Numoku and the iron reds came out of that testing. Salt is next: a surface that forms in the kiln instead of being brushed on, once Adam's salt kiln is built.

In a salt kiln at cone 10, salt thrown into the firebox vaporizes and travels with the flame. The sodium bonds with the clay itself, so the surface isn't a layer sitting on top; it's integrated. That's the surface Adam is building his kiln for.
