The kiln’s been opened. Shelves cleared. The dust has settled.

What’s available right now is the result of that last firing — cone 10, steady climb, no shortcuts. Mugs, a handful of bowls, a few vases. Nothing experimental. Nothing rushed. Just forms that held up.

I don’t release everything I fire. You already know that if you’ve been following along. Some pieces get edited out. Some stay as tests. What makes it to the shelf — and eventually to the site — is what feels resolved.

This batch leans into the fundamentals.

Mugs with balanced weight and comfortable handles. Rims that taper slightly so they don’t feel blunt. Foot rings trimmed clean and quiet so the piece lifts subtly off the table. Surfaces that matured fully in the kiln — iron tones deepened, glazes settled without distraction.

At cone 10, things tighten up. Clay vitrifies. Glaze fit matters. The pieces in this release made it through that heat without compromise. No rocking bases. No heavy bottoms. No rims that feel unfinished.

That’s the baseline.

There’s a steadiness to this group. Nothing flashy. Earth tones. Depth in the surface where heat did its work. Pieces meant for everyday use — morning coffee, weeknight dinners, water at the sink.
